Because safety always comes first, Bosques Cautín’s administrative team in Temuco participated in comprehensive training on the use of fire extinguishers and wet systems. The session also included essential emergency management practices and building evacuation procedures.
This training was organized by the Occupational Risk Prevention Department of Bosques Cautín. ‘Implementing these actions is crucial to fostering a strong culture of prevention and emergency management. Everyone within the company must be trained to ensure a safe and efficient response’.
Diego Inostroza, General Manager of Bosques Cautín Finvest, emphasized the commitment and active participation of employees in this exercise. He also highlighted that continuous actions will be implemented to ensure the protection of individuals. ‘We must always be prepared to minimize risks and prevent them from negatively impacting us and those around us. In this regard, I encourage you to continue participating in the safety training, courses, and exercises that we will offer moving forward. The recent course on fire extinguisher use was a great success and very engaging. I look forward to seeing you all at the upcoming events,’ he emphasized.
Each year, training is provided on the handling and use of fire extinguishers. This season, the scope was expanded to include the proper use of the building’s wet system, enabling employees to effectively respond in the event of a fire. This knowledge is also valuable in daily life, at home, and in other activities. The training also covered the different types of fire extinguishers and the specific situations in which each should be used.
